If You Do Wrong, You Know No Better

The philosophy of Socrates at its finest

Greek philosophers are the most famous around the world. If you were to name a set of famous philosophers, at least one would be Greek.

Socrates is very much known for being in the works of his students (Plato, Aristotle). He didn’t publish any work himself. We don’t know if these are accurate or that his students just made these things up — let’s assume they were right.

One of the things Socrates examined was problem-solving. If you divide a problem up into multiple problems it’s easier to solve because as you get deeper to the core of the problem — it gets much clearer what the real problem is.

Wisdom is Limited

According to Socrates, wisdom is limited. To all of us.

The one thing Socrates knew was that he didn’t know anything. That’s why he asked so many (sometimes annoying) questions.

“The unexamined life is not worth living” is what he said
