It’s time for another election in the UK
Boris Johnson has just resigned from the Conservative Party and will step down as party leader and Prime Minister this autumn. After weeks of insisting that he would not resign, the time has come.
After a series of unauthorized drinks parties with high-ranking officials during the lockdowns in the United Kingdom, people and the party think the Conservative Party leader should step down.
Trust is gone according to several key people in the party and in the country. You can’t stay seated then. So Johnson steps down and the United Kingdom can go to the polls again to elect a leader.
