Not long ago I started publishing content on the platform Newsbreak. Then it seemed a very great opportunity to distribute the content related to news/opinion and politics and it was for while.

In my first month, I started earning between $100 and $250 — which was completely unexpected.

Many opportunities on the platform I thought and in December I earned more than $2000 on the platform writing about local weather forecasts in the US.

My stats were exploding like this:

This stunned me but the month after that my earnings plummeted — articles that had an RPM of 3–4 in the past now sat as low as 0.01–0.10. It just wasn’t worth the effort anymore.

But more things make writers run away from Newsbreak.

Biased Editors are Running the Place

The thing I noticed from the beginning is that the editors that have to approve your content are biased — so publishing opinion articles isn’t going to work out if you’re complying with their ideas.
