Plato’s Theory of the Good and the Eternal Form

Do we exist in physical form?

Consider the physical world not being real, difficult isn’t it? You probably don’t even know where to start and how to do it. According to Plato, Physical form isn’t the ‘real’ world.

He called this, the theory of forms.

Although he criticized himself on this theory, it’s interesting to think about.

With vision, sight, and appearance, he introduced the concept of The Good, which contains the idea of the Perfect, Shapeless, and forever-lasting form.

Space and time don’t exist in this concept which is difficult to comprehend.

But when there’s no time, no physical form, I think there’s something left called the Soul that is the eternal thing.
