Since I was a little kid I was obsessed with Ancient Egypt (maybe it was the autism).

Nowadays I’m very busy studying politics and history in general.

I’m still interested in the way the Ancient Egyptians lived. So also, their politics and governments — what did they do to rule the country? Was it democratic or more authoritarian?

Let’s find out.

Egypt and Religion

Religion was a very important aspect of life in Ancient Egypt, that’s nothing new and no secret so that must have been a huge factor in their politics.

The Ancient Egyptians believed in many gods such as Ra, Anubis, Seth, Osiris, and you name them — they all had their position. Ra would be the god of the sun and Anubis would be the god of death and Seth and Osiris were two brothers that turned out to hate each other.
