So, North Carolina Wants To Save Unborn Babies By Executing The Mothers That Want Abortion?
The thing you knew that was coming
I was shocked when I read this.
The state of North Carolina wants to create a law that allows the state to execute women that attempt to do an abortion. With this new phase we’ve entered, I think this country is going to shit even faster than we thought.
The bill was introduced all the way back in February, but it didn’t draw so much attention — but now, with Roe v. Wade being overturned, it does.
The Supreme Court of The United States voted to overturn Roe v. Wade at the beginning of May 2022. After being part of Federal law for almost 50 years, it has now come to an end.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
What the state of North Carolina wants to propose is the following. If a woman has had a successful attempt at abortion, she could face the death penalty. If the abortion fails, she will be locked up until the baby is born, and then she will be executed.
