The Most Typical Swiss Village You Will Ever See
Walking through a mountain village in the middle of Switzerland
The day started with a cloudy sky and cold winds while we walked to the nearest train station. Usually, I don’t get cold quickly, but these winds were chilly.
We didn’t have any food, we’d buy some at Zurich main station. I was very hungry and I wanted some coffee, but once we arrived in Zurich we had to run for our trains so we didn't have time for coffee, only to buy some food.
It was only until 7 PM I finally bought an espresso to stay awake.
Getting on the train to Spiez was a stressful event on its own, it was almost full, so we had to squeeze ourselves into the little lounge area of the train.
The only positive thing about that train ride was the beautiful view of Switzerland, and it kept getting better.
The train ride on its own was worth our time and money.
Going along the Thunersee on the train was amazing, the lake got bluer and the mountains got higher. We only got more enthusiastic to visit Lauterbrunnen, a small mountain…
