On the evening of the 31st of March in 1922, a family consisting of six people in Bavaria, Germany was brutally murdered on their own property. They assume that a perpetrator snug into their house and hid for a couple of days before murdering the family. This murder tragedy is considered the cruelest murder case in German history.

Andreas Gruber lived on this farm with his wife Cäzilia Gruber and their daughter Viktoria Gabriel, who had two children: Cäzilia and Josef. Together with the maid, Maria Baumgartner, they lived there.
