The Philosophy of ‘Die Before You Die’ and Chinese Cycles

Chinese philosophy in the early Shang Dynasty

In the early Shang Dynasty, Chinese Philosophy was all about cycles. Everything will end and start over — that’s just how nature and the world works.

The world progressed as the 4 seasons did.

This philosophy is quite interesting as it portrays death as something that has to happen for something new to be able to start, I like that way of thinking a lot.

I’d like to add something to that — I believe that when your soul is ready to die, you will know it and have peace with it, that has to happen before your body does.

I hope that makes sense — if not, think about it for a while.
