On Sunday, the French will go outside to vote for their next President.
France has been the political center of Europe and the European Union for centuries and centuries.
This election is important for the future of France, Europe and the European Union.
Current President Emmanuel Macron has to prove himself of being capable of leading the nation into a new 5 years, besides Macron lacking popularity of the moment, Marine Le Pen, candidate for the Nationalist Party: Front National is closing in on him.
Many people would describe Le Pen as an extremist right populist.
That might be correct, I don’t know that. I’m staying far away from labels of left or right. I’m more interested in what these politicians want to do for the population.
Because politicians doing things for the people has been something that governments have ‘forgotten’ to do the last couple of years.
